MarksNelson is pleased to announce that Learning and Development Program Leader, Mary Feierabend, has received the Rookie of the Year Award presented by ELearning.com.
The 2018 Learning! Champion Award honor individuals for “exceptional contributions to the learning industry.” The Rookie of the Year is someone “new to their role and have surpassed performance expectations.”
Feierabend is a co-creator of MarksNelson University, the firm’s talent development program which launched in January of 2017. MarksNelson U is based on a competency framework which ensures skill mastery and promotion readiness. The competencies are tied directly to the firm’s mission and core values and formatted into Success Profiles for each position. Feierabend curated content to create learning tracks designed to teach the skills listed in the Success Profiles.
The program also includes career coaches, voluntary mentors, certifications in PowerPoint and Excel, and a virtual scavenger hunt to educate staff members on the tools available.
“Mary has done a phenomenal job implementing MarksNelson University and tailoring it to fit the needs of not only new hires but our experienced professionals as well, “said Managing Partner Mark Radetic. “This program will continue to evolve and grow with new possibilities.”
In February, HR.com named MarksNelson University one of the top 15 Corporate University Programs in the nation.
