MarksNelson accounting and consulting firm is pleased to announce the promotions of Sarah Schiltz, CPA, MSA, and Tammy Siegrist, CPA, CGMA, to partner.
Schiltz is the youngest woman to become partner in the history of MarksNelson. She joined the firm in 2005 after graduating from Bethany College with a degree in Finance, Accounting, Management and Computer Applications.
“Sarah quickly emerged as a leader,” said Managing Partner, Mark Radetic. “She is extremely driven, focused, and dedicated to going above and beyond for the success of our clients. Over the last 11 years, she has become an integral component of not only our Real Estate Niche but the future of MarksNelson.”
Schiltz specializes in partnership taxation, real estate accounting and tax services for high-net-worth clients. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and CCIM Kansas City.
Schiltz is also very active in serving the community through the Dream Factory and Special Olympics.
Tammy Siegrist has dedicated the last 13 years of her career in public accounting to the service of the insurance industry. She is part of MarksNelson’s national insurance practice and manages a large portfolio of both traditional and producer-owned reinsurance companies and specializes in insurance taxation, including captive insurance and corporate tax.
“Tammy is passionate about insurance and adding value to our clients, “said Managing Partner, Mark Radetic. “She has a positive outlook that is contagious throughout the firm and is always looking for ways to improve processes and efficiencies.”
Prior to joining MarksNelson in 2003, Siegrist worked at Sprint Corporation, Yellow Corporation, and Deloitte & Touche.
