MarksNelson has been named the 17th fastest growing accounting firm in the nation by Accounting Today. MarksNelson LLC, Kansas City’s largest locally owned accounting firm, has been recognized for achieving 22.35 percent growth in 2016. This is the second time MarksNelson has been included in the list of 25 fastest-growing accounting firms in the U.S.
In addition, for the third consecutive year, Accounting Today has named MarksNelson to its prestigious list of top accounting firms in the Midwest. It is once again the only firm from the Kansas City area.
MarksNelson has experienced significant growth since reaching a juncture several years ago. At that time, with several key partners edging toward retirement, the firm had to choose whether to remain independent. Once MarksNelson decided to remain independent, they committed to finding innovative ways to fuel new growth.
